Whilst formally educated in Melbourne Australia with post graduate studies completed in business, life’s education has been more global, travelling and working across all pockets of the globe from Latin America, Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Following 10 years working within sales, marketing, promotion, people and performance, by chance I made the jump into adventure travel. I enjoyed 7 years at G Adventures and Tucan Travel before moving into European Rail as Market Manager for Rail Europe. My most recent role was in the world of strategy and product development within travel wholesale.
The last 15 years has enabled me to build a strong network within the global travel industry, working collaboratively with tourist offices, suppliers, wholesale and tour operating businesses, airlines and other industry partners globally. Complimentary to this, I built a robust network of professionals around the world, including media and creative agencies, PR professionals, business strategists and innovators, government and professional associations.
My understanding of market dynamics and distribution globally positions connexU2 as the ideal partner to define pathways and connect global products, services and destinations to the Australian and New Zealand travel communities.
